Picking the Correct Horseradish
At Morehouse, there are several different types of horseradish to choose from. The traditional Prepared horseradish is a classic style with no dairy or additives. This is the most ideal option for cocktail sauces and Bloody Marys. Alternatively, if you want a more potent option to add to your Bloody Mary bar you can go with the Atomic line which packs an extra level of heat. We even have our very own Atomic Bloody Mary recipe to follow!
Other Bloody Mary Bar Tips
Presentation & Practicality
Set out small plates, napkins, and plenty of skewers so guests can easily build their perfect garnish stack—and snack as they go. For a polished look, add menu signs or placards describing the mix-ins, garnishes, and rim options. Want to simplify things even more? Pre-rim a few glasses with different seasonings so they’re ready to grab and go.
Snacks That Pair Perfectly
A snack spread takes your bar from good to unforgettable. Add some of these crowd-pleasers:
- Deviled eggs with a spicy twist
- Mini biscuits with pimento cheese or ham
- Crunchy bagel chips or rye crisps
- A zesty bar mix or seasoned nuts
- A small charcuterie board with bold flavors
Keep It Cool
Food safety is key, especially with fresh and pickled garnishes. Use ice trays, chilled platters, or ice buckets under bowls and containers to keep everything at a safe temperature and tasting fresh.
